     Match the pictures with the rules by writing the letter of each picture in front of one of the rules.

     1. Play the recording of a conversation between Emily and Dave. Listen and number the rules in the chart in the order they are talking about them.
2. Play the same recording again. Listen and put checkmarks under Emily and Dave to show what rules they have at home separately.

       What rules do you have in your house? Please talk about the rules with a partner.

      1. Read the letter to the class. Explain the new words. Let the Ss read the letter once more. And write the other rules in Zhao Pei’s house in the box.
2.Tell students to look at the Library Rules. Write what the other pictures mean in the box.

       Do you have family rules? Do you think they are fair or unfair? What are they? Write them down. Ask different students to read their letters to the class.

      3. These pictures show that what the Fraser family must or mustn’t do. Look at the other pictures carefully and write down the rules in the box.
