英语短文改错特点分析(2)

对行文逻辑的考查近几年的短文改错在试题的设计上更突出语篇理解的考查，涉及考查语篇理解的判断正误试题有所增加，即对行文逻辑的考查在加大力度。如果考生不能把握上下文或全文的含义，就很难判断出语法形式正确，但是语意逻辑的错误，如以下行文逻辑的考查点。
连词①(全国卷07Ⅰ)
He was silent for a moment.So he answered slowly：【so→then/and；连词前后两个句子之间是顺承关系】
②(全国卷06Ⅰ)
I came into the living room and saw one of them just go through the kitchen door but turn on the light.【but→and；连词前后两个句子之间是并列关系】
③(全国卷06Ⅱ)
It started to rise higher again. So it was still too close to the water.【so→but，连词前后两个句子之间是转折关系】
④(全国卷04Ⅰ)
I don't know that they don't like to talk with me.【that→why】
⑤(全国卷04Ⅰ)
I am trying to improve the situation since it doesn't seem to work.【since→but；连词前后两个句子之间是转折关系】
⑥(全国卷03)
It was almost noon we arrived at the foot of the mountain.【we之前加when；之前是后一句的时间状语】
⑦(全国卷03)
The food was expensive and the service was good.【and→but；连词前后两个句子之间是转折关系】
⑧(全国卷01)
It looks as if my parents treat me as a visitor and a guest.【and→or；连词前后两个句子之间是转折关系】
考查特点：
(1)判断连词连接的前后两个分句是何种逻辑关系，如第①——⑦句；
(2)判断并列连词所连接的前后两部分结构是否是平行结构，如第⑧句。
这两点是判断连词及其相关行文逻辑正确与否的关键所在。
代词①(全国卷07Ⅱ)
While others are jumping about in the air, I can run under my legs and get the ball.【my→their；与上文的others照应】
②(全国卷06Ⅰ)
I just smiled to me and thought,“What can I do? We are guests after all.”【me→myself, we→They；指代上文中的guests】
③(全国卷06Ⅱ)
Finally,the men threw away most of his clothes to save themselves.【his→their；与上文的the men照应】
④(全国卷05Ⅰ)
Some students may also to save up for our college or future use.【our→their；指代前面提到的some students】
⑤(全国卷03)
The three of them were very excited.【them→us；与上文的we照应】
判断代词正误的方法是根据上下文的逻辑关系，检查其与所指代的对象是否一致。
短文中的每一行所出现的错误都与上下文息息相关，因此在解题时，要从语篇着手，把握全篇主旨，弄清上下文的逻辑关系，然后逐句分析，依行查错。把握短文改错试题的特点，能够加强备考的针对性，有利于考生语言基础知识的夯实，从而提高语言表达能力。
